Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the information you provide when you use the Exit Readiness Diagnostic run by McQuade Consulting.
Who we are
McQuade Consulting is the data controller. Contact: info@mcquade-consulting.co.uk.
What we collect
Your business name, email address, turnover band and profit band, your answers to the 27 diagnostic questions and the closing question, the scores calculated from those answers, and the date and time of your submission.
Why we collect it and on what basis
- To calculate your results and generate and send your report. Basis: performance of a contract (you have asked us for the report).
- To follow up with you about your results and to send occasional notes on preparing a business for sale. Basis: your consent, given by ticking the box on the results page. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any email or writing to the address above.
- To understand how the tool is used and improve it, using aggregated figures that don't identify you. Basis: legitimate interests.
Who sees it
Your answers are seen only by McQuade Consulting. They are stored with Supabase (database hosting, London region) and your report is sent through Resend (email delivery). Both act as processors on our instructions. We do not sell or share your information with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Twenty-four months from your submission, unless you become a client, in which case it is kept as part of your client file. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@mcquade-consulting.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and local storage
The diagnostic stores your progress in your own browser so you can return to it if you leave part way through. Nothing is sent to us until you choose to submit your email address. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
